Michael Murray
Professional Education and History: Michael has a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from Alma College and has been with Burkhart-Presidio since 2014. He previously worked at Chemical Bank Wealth Management and Northwestern Mutual.
Personal: Michael is engaged and enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs. HIs favorite way to spend his free time is golfing.
Favorite Recreational Area: Family cabin on Higgins Lake and any Golf Course
Donna Dysinger
Donna is a graduate of Mid Michigan Community College (1984). She has 25 years of service with Burkhart-Presidio and an additional 9 years of experience in the insurance industry with Captive Agency.
Donna is married to her husband, Bryan, and they have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. She likes to garden, do pottery, kayak and cross-country in her spare time (she says she “could on and on” with hobbies she enjoys).
Favorite recreational area: There are so many! Donna loves Michigan lakes, golf courses and campgrounds.
Stephanie Peterson
Professional Education and History : Stephanie graduated from Beaverton High School. She is a recent grad from CMU with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and we are excited to have her join our team!
Something Personal : Stephanie enjoys golfing, doing crafts, playing with her dog, and hanging out with family/friends.

Heather Cooper
Professional Education and History (education, how long with agency and in industry) – Heather studied Business Administration at Davenport University. She joined the Burkhart team in October 2020. Heather is Licensed in Property, Casualty, Life & Health. She also has over 15 years of customer service experience.
· Something personal (family, hobbies etc.) Heather has lived in the Coleman area for the last 10 years with her husband. They have one daughter and three adopted sons. Together, they enjoy spending time riding motorcycles, camping on their family property, and hanging with our fur babies, Lucy and Blue.
· Favorite recreational are in Mi (ex. Favorite lake, golf course, campground, etc. Heather loves all of Michigan, “you can find so many wonderful places in either direction that you go”.
Whitney King
Whitney graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration from Saginaw Valley State University in 2015 and started working at Burkhart-Presidio Insurance Agency shortly thereafter.
Whitney is married with 2 sons, a dog and two cats. She enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Kathy Swarthout
Kathy has worked in insurance since 1995 and began working with us at Burkhart-Presidio in 2018.
She and her husband, Wade, have 6 kids and 6 grandchildren. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family. She loves to watch her grandchildren play their sports, garden, and snowmobile. She also loves antiquing and finding valuable, very old things.
Jill RosIn
Personal Lines CSR
Jill has an Associates degree from Mid Michigan Communicate College. She started working for Burkhart-Presidio Insurance in 1985 and became a licensed agent in 1994. Needless to say she has a lot of experience and knows the area well. She enjoys serving both local and long-distance property owners.
Jill is a Gladwin native. “I was born, raised and have lived in Gladwin my whole life!”. She is married, has two daughters, and one granddaughter. When she’s not working, she enjoys gardening, taking it easy, and spending time with family and friends. She loves all of Michigan and likes to visit different lakes in the summer. But, “no camping!” 🙂

Jennifer Orso
Job Title “Receptionist”
Jennifer joined Burkhart-Presidio in 2017. Prior to that she worked in the medical field and has a certificate in Medical Billing/Coding and Office Management. She also ran a daycare for 13 years! Needless to say, Jennifer is our Office Management extraordinaire.
Jennifer moved from Pontiac to Beaverton in 1980 and has enjoyed Mid-Michigan living ever since. Her favorite thing to do is spend a lot of quality time outdoors with her family. They enjoy fishing, camping, hiking and kayaking.

Samantha is married and has 3 children, 3 dogs, 2 cats and a few “too many” chickens.
